Camtasia Studio is one of the best products that can record video sequences on your PC. A complete suite that will make the happiness of professionals and not just for creating tutorials. Ideal for those who need advanced management and assembly functions
Many times you have had the desire to capture some video sequences of the work you are doing on your computer or the need to perform professional tutorials on how to use a program or to do a PC operation. Too bad that Windows does not provide you with tools to meet your need. Maybe it’s a good idea to take a look at Camtasia Studio.
At the start of Camtasia Studio, you can choose what to do. Making a video capturing everything on your monitor (including mouse movements) is a really easy task: you can select the portion of your screen you prefer, a single window, or the entire desktop. Once you’ve finished recording, you’ll have a horizon of options available, saving, editing (with advanced features), zooming (choosing times and modes), and resizing your videos to be uploaded to video, blog, iPod and more.
But Camtasia Studio offers even more: you can enter titles, transition effects, add audio comments, and even keystrokes when typing. If you encounter difficulties in managing or editing your video, click on “Assist me” and a guide will open in the chapter about the feature you are using. Too bad that this guide, like the whole program, is in English.
Camtasia Studio also lets you save your work in SWF / FLV, WMV , MOV , AVI , MP3 , RM , CAMV and GIF formats and upload your videos to FTP and Screencast.com (but you will need to be registered) . There are also free but much less sophisticated alternatives to Camtasia Studio, such as CamStudio or AutoScreenRecorder Free.
