The freeware Recuva can save data and recover deleted files: from hard disk, SSD, MP3 player or digicam.
Recuva has been programmed by the developers of the system cleaner CCleaner. But unlike CCleaner deleting data, Recuva can help you save lost data.
Recover Deleted Data: Recuva for Windows
Whether you’ve deleted the data from the Windows Recycle Bin, from hard drives and SSDs, from memory cards on your digicam, or even from an MP3 player, Recuva can usually retrieve those files. It does not matter if the data was deliberately deleted or lost through a system crash, bug or virus.
All you have to do is select a drive and press “Scan”. In just a few seconds you have listed the found deleted files. For a better overview, you can alternatively display the finds in a tree structure.
Recuva supports JPG, PNG, RAW, GIF, JPG, BMP, MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV, AAC, M4A, DOC, XLS, PPT, ODT, ODS, PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX file formats in wizard mode.
